Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator of the development achievements of the quality of human life in society which is structured based on three basic dimensions, namely the dimension of longevity and healthy living, the dimension of knowledge, and the dimension of livability. standard of living. The dimension of long life and healthy living is represented by the indicator of life expectancy at birth. The knowledge dimension is represented by indicators of expected years of schooling and average years of schooling. Meanwhile, the dimension of decent living standards is represented by the adjusted per capita expenditure indicator. The publication of the 2023 Bengkulu Selatan Regency Human Development Index was prepared to provide an overview of the achievements of residents development in Bengkulu Selatan Regency in 2023. Thus, it is hoped that this publication can spur the Bengkulu Selatan Regency Government to continue to improve development performance through increasing the basic capacity of the residents.
