Abstract

In July 2024, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 2.99 percent compared with July 2023 (year-on-year/y-on-y).
The most significant change in the index is in the Agriculture Sector, which increased by 5.09 percent.
The year-on-year price change in July 2024 was contributed mainly by rice, oil palms, cacao beans, gingers, and filtered cigarettes with cloves.
The WPI in July 2024 decreased by 0.20 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and increased by 1.64 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in July 2024 changed by 1.18 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of diesel fuel, sands, stone for construction foundations, cement, and aggregate.
