Abstract

  • FTT is the ratio of the index of prices received by farmers (It) and the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).
  • FTT is an indicator to measure the farmers' purchasing power parity in rural areas. FTT shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumption and production costs.
  • In July 2024, national FTT was 119.61 or increased by 0.70 percent compared with that in June 2024. The increase in FTT was due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It) at 0.31 percent, while the decrease in the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) at 0.39 percent.
  • In July 2024, Bengkulu Province had the highest increase in FTT at 3.48 percent. On the other hand, Sulawesi Tengah Province experienced the highest decrease in FTT at 4.69 percent.
  • The price index of household consumption (IKRT) in July 2024 decreased by 0.54 percent in Indonesia, which was due to the decrease in food, beverage, and tobacco groups.
  • Nationally, Agriculture's Terms of Trade (NTUP) was 122.25 in July 2024 or increased by 0.29 percent compared with June 2024.
