Abstract

In September 2024, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 2.20 percent compared with September 2023 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The Manufacturing Sector has the most significant change, increasing by 2.22 percent.
The year-on-year price change in September 2024 was contributed mainly by oil palms, filtered cigarettes with cloves, coffee beans, gingers, and rice.
The WPI in September 2024 decreased by 0.18 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and increased by 1.34 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in September 2024 changed by 0.80 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of sands, cement, stone for construction foundations, asphalt, and construction steel.
